Dixieland Jazz Society of Alberta

The Dixieland Jazz Society of Alberta is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting, preserving and perpetuating Dixieland Jazz.  It also helps out aspiring traditional jazz musicians by providing funding for music scholarships and music camps. The High Society Band is made up of long-time members and professional musicians, including JOEL GRAY (trumpet, vocals), WES JACIUK (guitar), DOUG INNES (clarinet, tenor sax), ANDREW GLOVER (piano), DEAN PIERNO (drums), GLENN DURKSEN (bass), and ALLEN JACOBSON (trombone). They will take you on a musical journey to another time, and play a concert of traditional New Orleans swing and Dixieland music that is guaranteed to thrill and delight you.
