Volunteer Leduc, in partnership with the Newcomer Volunteer Advisory Committee, is pleased to invite you to support our 3rd Annual Newcomer Volunteer Mixer on March 28, 2026.

Itinerary
1:00 p.m. – Doors Open
1:00 – 3:00 p.m. – Community Connections: Organizational & Cultural Cuisine Showcase
3:00 – 4:00 p.m. – Cultural Performance Showcase

Community Connections: Organizational Showcase
Located in the attached gymnasium, the Organizational Showcase is designed to spark conversation and encourage connections between newcomers and local nonprofits. Tables and chairs will be arranged to create an inviting and interactive environment where visitors can meet organizational representatives, learn about their work, and explore volunteer opportunities.
Multilingual visual aids highlighting the benefits of volunteering will be displayed throughout the space, and on-site translators will be available to support communication.

Cultural Cuisine Showcase
In the atrium lobby of the Maclab Centre for the Performing Arts, attendees will enjoy a diverse assortment of culturally inspired dishes. This tasting experience offers an opportunity to explore flavors from around the world while fostering connection and conversation among participants.

Cultural Performance Showcase
From 3:00 to 4:00 PM in the main theater, guests will be treated to a vibrant lineup of cultural performances representing regions such as Ukraine, India, several African nations, and more. These performances celebrate the diverse cultural heritage that enriches the City of Leduc and provide a joyful closing to the event.
