Bill LeBlanc, better known as RELLIK in the entertainment world, is an accomplished recording artist, performer, and radio host hailing from Edmonton. With a career spanning over two decades and decorated with 11 awards and 35 nominations, Rellik has solidified his presence in the industry.

Boasting over  1100 performances and five albums, RELLIK stands as a prominent figure in the Indigenous music scene.

Rellik has proudly shared the stage with contemporaries like Everlast and Run DMC, as well as childhood heroes The Hieroglyphics and The Guess Who.  Rellik’s musical journey has been a dream come true for someone who has overcome adversity to flourish in his musical career.

Compared to artists like Struggle Jennings, Everlast, or Kid Rock, he is heavily influenced by genres outside of Hip Hop, including Country, Blues, Folk, and Rock. With songs featured in movies and television,  such as Arctic Air and Blackstone. Rellik often collaborates with an array of talented musicians and creative minds. Some of Relliks best work has come as the result of collaborative project such as this.

Rellik has been involved in Indigenous arts and the general music community in Edmonton for over 20 years and 15 of them professionally and has also appeared on many award juries including the JUNO Awards, The Edmonton Arts Council, The Calgary Music Awards, FACTOR and more.

Renowned for his ability to blend genres and create distinctive musical landscapes, he also spent many years on Indigenous radio airwaves, having hosted the afterrnon Drive show on 89.3 The Raven for over four years and currently hosts the “Coffee and Cree” podcast, as he is also a strong advocate in Cree language revitalization.

This show is part of the Maclab’s Indigenous Series.
