Charlie Demers Ft. Sunee Dhaliwal
Charlie Demers is an author, comedian, actor, playwright, screenwriter and political activist. He has performed for national television and radio audiences and at the Just for Laughs Festival. He is one of the most frequently returning stars of CBC Radio’s smash-hit comedy show The Debaters.
By combining political humour that’s never shrill or self-righteous with broader jokes that are never thoughtless, Charlie is equally well-received whether delivering jokes in a sports bar or emceeing a gala for the Canadian Centre for Policy Alternatives. Not many people have both on their resume.
He was also a co-host of CityTV’s subversive comedy newspanel ‘The Citynews List,’ along with his sketch comedy partner Paul Bae. It is the act that Robin Williams called “the future of comedy.”

He has worked with such talents as Tom Segura, Jim Belushi, Bryan Callen, Tony Rock, Mike MacDonald, Jo Koy, Sugar Sammy and Charlie Murphy.
Sunee can regularly be heard on XM Radio and has done his very own Comedy Now! special, which airs on CTV.
